Comments: Hey Tim, The fun part of the last reunion was meeting the guys from the other era's. Get to know some of the older and younger guys and share stories.
Looks like we are going to have a good turn out, lots of guys have signed up.

Comments: So, who from my era is planning on going to the reunion? I would love to be there, as long as I know there will be plenty of guys to slug a few back with, since I will have fly up from Atlanta. Also, I may have to be in Ft. Worth that week so convincing the wife may be a challenge. (And my anniversary is the next day!!!!)

Comments: Here's how the Soprano's should end. The budding, brooding anarchist, AJ Soprano-disgusted by his families ill gotten wealth, and heavy handed ways-walks into Bada Bing, strapped full of explosives and wipes the entire crew, himself included, off the face of the earth. Furio returns from Italy, bangs Carmela and becomes the new Don. They live happily ever after...Nice!
Also. My father was a Sigma Pi brother at NCE. It made him proud that Wally Shirra was an NCE grad and his fraternity brother to boot. The fraternity named one of the rooms upstairs the Gemini 5 in honor of Wally Shirra.
See you all at the re-union.

Comments: PHOTOGRAPHS - If I can get photographs of everyone, I'll make a photo movie for the reunion. (Go to www.foto-motions.com to see what I do with still photographs.) What I need is a good face shot of you in college or even from your HS year book and a recent face shot of you now. Then I can do a BEFORE and AFTER. Get them to me ASAP at iboz@earthlink.net. OR if you have them hard copy, send to Bruce Cannelongo, 48 Wertsville Road, Ringoes, NJ 08551. DON'T FORGET to include your name and years of the photos and your pledge year. THANKS

Comments: I SENT MY CHECK. Get those checks in to Ken Scuorzo right away. That is the REAL CONFIRMATION that you will be attending the reunion. We have a special treat this year. Yes, naked dancing girls. Well, just one. You all remember her - the oldest hooker in the world from the Regent Hotel. She must have been 70 back then, so this will be a rare treat to see a 100+ year old naked dancer. Instead of a pole, she'll be using her walker. So make this a MUST event and get confirmed NOW. Water balloons and blind folds will be provided at no extra charge.

Comments: It's showtime guys. You all have read the web page on the reunion details. If you are planning on going please remit your payment to me as soon as possible. 45 bucks per person gets you beer, wine and lots of food and a free t-shirt. You will have a chance to catch up with the guys you chummed around with during our college days.
The list of brothers planning on attending is growing but I need payment by July 10. So don't put it off. I hope to see as many brothers this time as last plus some that have just discovered the website within the last two years.

Comments: Only you, Don... You are a true actuarial, half your postings are musings on someone's recent demise. And who else would know that Wally Schirra was a NCE grad and a Pig Sty brother? So, is Steve Fronapfel comforting Russ on their loss?

Comments: Pioneer astronaut Wally Schirra dies at 84. Wally. Wally went to NJIT (NCE) in 1941. He was member of Sigma Pi. He was there before the fish. Russell Furnari is crying in his beer today.

I personally was pleased to have met so many brothers that came after my era and even a few of the founding freeking fathers from our humble beginnings, outstanding!! Mark the date on your calenders and register your intent to attend. I am looking forward to tipping more than a few brews with all of you.

Comments: I was a founding father of Tau Lambda Chi at Northern Illinois University. I found your site on Google and am impressed at your web site and clothing line; good job! We pursued the idea of starting a fraternity based on gym class friendships and bringing in other friends and became a fraternity in 1968. We were a mixture of Chicago Jews and down state(anything outside of Chicago) small town farm boys. I was one of the small town boys. The blend was an interesting by good one and we had many good times over the years. Unfortunately, we disbanded as a fraternity about 1974. In 2004 we had a great reunion and now have one every 2 years. Good to see you remain active. Best wishes from your Illinois brothers from NIU!

Comments: Well said, Ken! It is time for another reunion. Out of deference to Joe DiMaggio, for all his hard work in keeping up this website, it would be nice if the next reunion can be scheduled around Joe's next visit to NJ. Joe, you coming up north anytime soon? Everybody else, do we have support for another reunion? Let's hear from the brotherhood...

Comments: Welcome to the web site Ted. Make sure you visit the site often so you don't miss news of a reunion or casual get together with brothers of all past pledge classes. I have met many great Tau Lambda Chi brothers that came after us through contacts made from this web site. The last major reunion was a few years ago at the St Clement reception center in Matawan. Our own T^X brother Brian Mayer runs the Banquet Center there and hosted a great party. the food was great and price was reasonable. I hope to see a reunion there again soon because it is fairly centrally located for the Jersey brothers still residing here. Brother Joe Dimaggio is the main ingredient in the glue that keeps the brotherhood in contact with each other. He and a few other brothers put this site together and I personally thank them for the great job they have done. I haven't seen you since I pledged in '67 but hope we can tip few brews together in the near future.
Stay well
Ken Scuorzo
